July was a month full of so much fun!
The Lodge at Breckenridge hosted 11 weddings, 2 corporate groups, and had sold out lodging multiple times! We are proud to say that this busy month was such a success and are wishing joy and happiness to all the newlyweds!
Kicking off the month was our first July wedding on the 8th, with a guest count of about 40 people. The count was right in our roundhouse and the couple enjoyed a beautiful day and great service thanks to our banquet staff.
As the week went on, we celebrated two more weddings, and hosted the Pinnacle Charter School for a meeting in our Bluebird Room over the weekend! Their breakfast meeting was catered for by our own kitchen, serving up delicious breakfast burritos and consistently hot coffee! Our Bluebird room was able to offer them ample space for their party, and a private area so they weren’t disturbed.
The third week of July did not slow down, with us hosting 5 weddings in the week. Special congratulations to our wedding on the 17th, who wanted a micro-wedding, and for it to be planned quickly. We started working with the bride only in June and were able to create an easy and simple process to get the day planned. She was able to take advantage of our current 2024 deal, booking a wedding within five months, and getting $500 off her package. She also worked with one of our favorite photographers, Sarah Barth!
The final week of July was probably the busiest one yet! Starting with a wedding on Monday, continuing with hosting DCC Propane Tuesday and Wednesday, back to a wedding on Thursday, and finishing up on Saturday with our biggest wedding of the month, with over 100 people guest count!
One of the most exciting events of the month was our sales team and banquet captain attending the Rainbow Wedding’s Expo in Denver! It was hosted at the beautiful Lionsgate Event’s Center, a venue that looks like a mix between a Tudor style mansion and a fairy garden. We loved meeting so many couples and talking about your stories and ideas for your wedding! Congratulations to our two raffle winners! One won a complimentary two-night stay at The Lodge, and the other a gift basket full of Breckenridge goodies! It was also a pleasure to meet so many other vendors from Denver and the surrounding area.
To celebrate this magnificent month, and all the hard work of our banquet, kitchen, and restaurant staff, we were so glad to be able to host an employee outing! We traveled up to Copper Mountain to take advantage of their summer activities and had a friendly go-karting competition! Afterwards we enjoyed lunch in the sunshine. We are so grateful for all the hard work from every member of our staff. You guys are the best!
