Chef Brian Duncan

Brian Duncan is a passionate, highly experienced and seasoned chef who made his name in Summit County after having graduated from the Colorado Mountain College Culinary Program. Starting at a sous chef position, Brian quickly carved his way to executive chef while helping turn his first restaurant, Twists, into a local’s favorite. After his time at Twists, The Lodge was quick to give him an opportunity in the Traverse kitchen where he brings a strong affection for delectable food and an enthusiastic approach to providing guests with a magnificent dining experience. He is also one of the standout features of our banquet packages as he offers unique and delicious cuisine options customized to client preferences.

When he’s not making treats in the kitchen, Brian enjoys spending time with his two sons and indulging in Colorado’s abundance of outdoor activities like snowboarding, mountain biking, climbing, hiking, fishing, and camping.
