Chef Klaus

Executive Chef

Klaus started at The Lodge in 2020 and has been “Wowing” our guests ever since. Born and raised in Germany, Klaus graduated with a Master’s Degree in Culinary. In 2015 he made his way to the states, working in California and Wyoming before arriving in Colorado. Klaus enjoys working out along with being outdoors and watching the many types of birds in his local area. It is amazing to observe Klaus’s excitement about food, from filleting a halibut to picking the best U10 scallops. If you are headed to Breckenridge, Traverse is a must on your list of places to dine. Reading our reviews, you can’t go wrong with his classic Elk dish with a creamy mushroom sauce!
